Haasenhof, or "Otjombuindja"
as it is known in Herero, meaning "place of the Steenbok", is situated in the heart of Namibia, approximately 140 km north of Windhoek. An unforgettable holiday awaits you on this picturesque farm with its abundance of wildlife.

The mountains on the farm,
which are approximately 1600m above sea level, can be reached by walking trails and assure you a breathtaking bird´s eye-view of the area.

You will be able to experience spectacular sunsets from our veranda.

You are also free to seek refuge in our garden, with its shady trees and colourful plants. A swimmingpool is also available.

Farm tours, which will pass dams and watering places for cattle, will bring to light a wealth of wildlife.
Discover a large variety of birds, antelopes such as Kudu, Oryx, Springbuck, Steenbok, Damara Dik-Dik, as well as Warthog and Ostrich.

Sustenance will be provided by our excellent kitchen. You will be accomodated in guestrooms, each with its own shower and toilet facilities..

Walks in the vicinity of the house are very popular. Day-tours to close-by places of interest, such as Omaruru, Okahandja or Gross-Barmen, can be arranged.

From October to March, hot to very hot weather can be expected. Light clothing, headgear, sunglasses, sun oil and sun block are recommended. From April to September, warm weather can be expected during midday, while mornings and evenings are rather chilly. Warm clothing is advised.
